Solskjaer urges Manchester United to be careful about Edin Dzeko when United faces Roma in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals.
According to Manchester Evening News Manchester United administrator, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has encouraged his group to be careful about the danger presented by Roma forward Edin Dzeko.
Solksjaer said: “They’re an experienced team and we all know Edin Dzeko, so any ball in the box is a dangerous one. We’re in a semi-final now and it feels like a proper European tie, because Roma is a club with loads of tradition and history, but we’ve done well against Italian teams before. We’re looking forward to it and we’re going into these games hoping to get to the final. If you can finish this season with a final and a trophy then that would be great.”
The Bosnian veteran will be acquainted with United, having gone through five years at rivals Manchester City. Dzeko has confronted us multiple times, scoring seven clear goals and helping two more. Most would agree he has been a headache for us as a general rule.
Manchester United go into the tie as the group in the better form this season. Notwithstanding, it will include minimally a two-legged apparatus. Solskjaer for one isn’t underestimating the game and is quick to move toward it with the essential arrangements.
Roma is a risky side on their day and it won’t serve us to be so easy to play. Manchester United crushed another Italian side, AC Milan in transit the last four. Having defeated an appropriate test against them, Solskjaer is hoping to rehash a similar stunt against the Romans.
The Red Devils have gone head to head against the Italians multiple times in big games up until now. They have won four of those games up until this point and are unbeaten in the last five games against Roma. This incorporates the noteworthy 7-1 pounding at Old Trafford in 2007.
