Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stayed hesitant on Manchester United’s goalkeeping circumstances and has not affirmed yet whether David de Gea or Dean Henderson is his main man in front of the nets.
Manchester United’s goalkeeping position has been a wellspring of the dispute this season following the arrival of Henderson from a two-year tenure at Sheffield United, the young player has won admirers for his exhibitions at Bramall Lane. De Gea has held his situation for a significant part of the period up until this point, yet following his travel back to Spain for individual reasons has seen Henderson sparkle in his nonattendance.
Dean Henderson has surrendered only four goals in his previous nine appearances, while he has kept a noteworthy 12 clean sheets in only 18 appearances across all rivalries this season. These stats have given the man more respect in the eyes of Solksjaer and therefore currently he has been rewarded by the starting spot.
Solskjaer currently faces a situation on picking his best option, with De Gea confronting the greatest test of his profession with the club in the wake of going through 10 years generally untroubled as number one.
In front of this present week’s conflict with Brighton in the Premier League, Solskjaer wouldn’t affirm which of the players would proceed as the main goalkeeper for his team and he knows that it’s intense work to select ‘two top goalkeepers’ going after one position.
Solksjaer said: “You know, I have a great option of two top goalkeepers and it’s a pleasure to have them right here. We’ve got, hopefully, nine plus five games to go because we want to go all the way in the Europa League, so I’m sure you’ll see both of them playing in goal for us.”
This will be advantageous for United going ahead as they will never have a shortage of options going ahead. Both goalkeepers are fighting for their spots and it will be interesting to see who will play in this week’s fixture.
