Solksjaer: Luke Shaw is the second best finisher in the team

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer demands there’s just one player who is a preferable finisher at the club over Luke Shaw.

Solskjaer asserted Luke Shaw is the second-best finisher at the club behind Mason Greenwood.

The Norwegian neglected any semblance of Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani, and Anthony Martial for his resurgent left-back. It’s a surprise to see Luke Shaw being better than some of the dangerous attacking players that United possesses. Indeed, even Bruno Fernandes is behind Shaw in the completing positions.

Shaw said in February: “You should ask the manager he normally says me. I understand people will say I don’t score many goals but he’s actually said to me I was one of them. I don’t know if he was being nice or not.”

And now Solskjaer was supportive of Luke Shaw and said: “I’ve said that to Luke, yeah. He is behind Mason Greenwood, Luke has a very good finishing technique when he gets in that position so I encourage him to get up there.”

Mason Greenwood has a very good finishing rate and the most remarkable thing is that he can shoot accurately from both feet which makes him a lethal striker. Shaw has been great at the attacking positions and has been improving well.

Rashford is well behind them as he has missed a number of chances while going forward and Fernandes is new to the slot and still stays behind Shaw and Greenwood in finishing accuracy. The comparisons will go on as we go ahead in search of goals. Shaw has a great recent form which will help him climb the ladders.
