Solksjaer: Players made too many decisions that I didn’t like

Eventually, it ended up being one more disheartening draw at home for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United against Fulham.

The Red Devils came into the game on the rear of two straight defeats at home to Leicester City and Liverpool. With 10,000 fans back in participation, they went in with an opportunity to end the season on a high.

The signs looked great as Edinson Cavani scored a great goal to put us ahead on the evening. Nonetheless, regardless of various chances, we couldn’t make the most of our strength and paid the consequences for it.

As indicated by the club’s official website, Solskjaer conceded that he was baffled by the decision-making of his squad. With a bigger opponent to face on 27th May in the Europa League Final, Solksjaer considers this defeat to be a wake-up call for the players.

Solksjaer said: “Hopefully it will just wake them up. We made too many decisions that I didn’t like.”

Manchester United as far as it matters for them did well to mold chances for themselves. Sadly, they were very loose in their defense and could not settle on the correct decisions. This doesn’t look well heading into the Europa League finals soon.

However long we keep on wasting opening chances, the opponent team gets an opportunity to get back in the game. A similar thing happened yesterday as Fulham hit us on the counter for their goal and disturbed us several times.

While the outcome might not have held a lot of importance, we can’t stand to be so credulous when we face Villarreal.

The Spaniards are a bigger side over Fulham and in Unai Emery, they have a more tactical manager. Ideally, the players will pay notice to Solskjaer’s warnings and move up their socks beginning this Sunday against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A defeat in Gdansk will bring down all the great work and progress we have made this season. We just can’t stand to be so inefficient with regards to knockout games.
