Solskjaer backs Wan-Bissaka to be amongst the best

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has started very well in his new Manchester United career as he joined the club last summer from Crystal Palace. The young right-back was one of the best defenders in the league last season but still hasn’t managed to get the crucial England call-up amongst fierce competition. According to Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is motivation the right-back to work more on his weaknesses.

Wan-Bissaka is one of the best defensive right-backs in the world but his attacking side has time and again let him down. With the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold competing with Wan-Bissaka for the English right-back spot, which makes it even more difficult for him. The United right-back must get his act together while going forward to have any chance of cementing his place in the England starting XI.

In his latest press conference, Solskjaer said “Aaron is very young still and he has not played full-back for many years. I think Aaron throughout the season, he grew in respect of his confidence. It was his first season at Man United and he saw where he fits in here.”

Solskjaer referred to the fact that Wan-Bissaka started his career as a winger and changed his position very late to become a right-back.

The manager believes that Wan-Bissaka will come good in due course of time and will surely compete for the England spot.
