Manchester United new signing Alex Telles has had a good start to his career with the Red Devils after starring against PSG. Telles has just managed to get one appearance under his belt till now but is expected to replace Shaw in United’s starting XI. But now, Alex Telles himself has come out and told the reason for his absence from the squad for the last couple of games.
After starring against Paris Saint Germain, everyone had expected Telles to start against Newcastle. But the Brazilian was missing from the squad which led to various saying the left-back had endured an injury. It was also said Solskjaer was just resting him for the Leipzig game, but when Telles wasn’t there in last night’s squad as well, everyone’s ears pricked up.
In his recent Instagram post, Telles has confirmed that he has been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus. In his post-match talk, Solskjaer also said the same that Telles has been diagnosed with the virus but doesn’t have any of the symptoms. The left-back would hope to come back as soon as possible and play for his new club.

Solskjaer would hope for Alex Telles to come back fit to the squad as soon as possible as United need to chop and change things with games coming thick and fast.
