Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been heavily criticized this season because of Manchester United’s poor performances, especially at home. The Norwegian manager wasn’t backed in the summer thus he hasn’t produced great results but has been heavily linked with the sacking. In his recent interview, Solskjaer has shown his passion and was furious about the timing of the Everton fixture, which saw Luke Shaw injured.
Solskjaer has been under some serious pressure lately because of a bad start to the season at Old Trafford. But on the contrary, United’s form away has been great but was broken against Istanbul Basaksehir. The Red Devils played Everton last night, after playing in Turkey only on Wednesday, which has infuriated the United manager, who didn’t hold back in his interview.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “I think it’s such a serious issue that, in the times we’re in, we don’t look after these players. They’re not robots, they’re human. They’re asked to perform and you know the intensity of the game. You can see towards the end we didn’t have the intensity in our game because of tired legs, tired minds.”
The manager has already cleared out that Luke Shaw has suffered from a hamstring injury, which will keep him out for a while. The likes of Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof have also endured a few injuries in the game against Everton. But the international break has come at the right time for Solskjaer as the players will have time to recover.
