Injury Update

Solskjaer reports a couple of casualties from the Everton win

Manchester United got back to winning ways against Everton as the team scored three goals past Jordan Pickford at Goodison Park. The Red Devils were superb last night, but it wasn’t without sacrifices as the game was fairly early from United’s last game against Istanbul Basaksehir. In his recent post-match interview, Solskjaer has talked about the injury to Luke Shaw during the game and also about Rashford suffering.

Luke Shaw has had his fair share of injuries at Manchester United, especially after the triple-fracture he suffered about four years back. He has been wonderful this season and was even in contention to be selected for the English international squad. The same has also been the case with Rashford, as he has also suffered some injuries in the recent past.

In his interview, when asked about injuries, Solskjaer said: “Yes. Victor’s back, Marcus’s shoulder, Luke Shaw’s hamstring. That’s three I can remember from the top of my head. I hope everyone else is okay. David didn’t play [in midweek] but he had a groin problem before the game.”

Luckily for Solskjaer and Manchester United, Telles has returned to fitness and will play in place of Shaw, providing quality to the Red Devils. Shaw needs to take care of his fitness as he plays very well when he is fit, but the Englishman gets injured every now and then which isn’t good for his development.
