Solskjaer States That Pogba Will Remain At Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he believes that star midfielder Paul Pogba will remain at the club.

The Red Devils start to the season hit somewhat of a blip when they drew 1-1 at the Molineaux Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night. French superstar Paul Pogba had the chance to win the game for Manchester United as he won a penalty with some great trickery inside the box but his spot-kick was saved and the visitors had to share the spoils with Wolves.

Pogba’s future is still in doubt at the moment as he himself admitted that there are question marks over his tenure at Old Trafford after the 4-0 win over Chelsea on the opening day of the Premier League season. Although the Premier League transfer window has been closed since 9th August, there are possibilities that the 26-year-old could leave United as the European transfer window shuts on September 2nd.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still remains quite confident about his marquee player remaining at Old Trafford despite the links to Real Madrid and Juventus. When asked about Pogba’s future, the 46 year old told reporters, “You [the media] always put question marks around Paul, I don’t think it’s odd saying enjoy playing, I have fun with my team-mates, I enjoy what I’m doing, I love my job and enjoy the game. Of course that sentence with the question mark about him, there’s always question marks about Paul. There’s not one press conference that I’ve not answered a question about Paul Pogba – 80 percent of what he said was that he enjoyed that game and his time here. I’ve got absolutely no concerns on Paul. For me, yeah, he’s going to stay.”
