Thiago infuriated while he was asked about his future

Thiago Alcantara is one of the hottest prospects in the transfer market this summer as Liverpool and Manchester United battle it out for his services. Although Liverpool are favourites to sign him, the Red Devils haven’t given up on Thiago just yet. In his latest interview with Manchester Evening News, the Spaniard seems to be frustrated while talking about his future.

The 29-year old Spanish international is touted as one of the best midfielders in the world currently, having won the treble last season. But, Thiago has a contract with Bayern Munich which expires next year and thus the German club is desperate to sell him. The Bavarian club tried to persuade Thiago to sign an extension with them, but the Spaniard refused, as stated by Bayern Munich CEO.

In his recent interview before the game against Ukraine, Thiago seemed to be infuriated by questions related to his transfer. He said: “I have not said at any time that I am leaving, every year you put me in a different team.” The midfielder also added: “I am on the sidelines, my future is tomorrow’s game right now. I neither care nor am I interested in what I know I talked.”

Manchester United are still trying hard to get Thiago but his wages are proving to be a stumbling block for the transfer.
