According to rumours, the deal is said to be around 1.5 million euros. Timothy Fosu-Mensah who can play in varying positions in the defensive set up was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of quality game time that he was getting.
At the age of 23, it seems that he should be getting more time on the pitch than what he is currently getting at Manchester United. There are already a lot of defenders on the Manchester roster who have gone so low in the pecking order that a comeback almost seems impossible.
Marcos Rojo is another defender who is fed up with the lack of game time will also be allowed to leave the club in the summer. Phil Jones has also become another fringe player at the club.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2014 and was close to a move back to his former club but according to Fabrizio his move to Bayer Leverkusen is a done deal.
Since joining Manchester United Timothy Fosu-Mensah he has gone on loan spells at Fulham and Crystal Palace yet has failed to cement his place in the first team under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. He brings a lot of versatility with the ability to play in a different position.
He can play as a central defender as well as a wing-back. He is also a makeshift defensive midfielder whenever needed which can be a great asset to any team.
