Manchester United plays against Tottenham Hotspur at their home stadium on Saturday. It will be another huge test for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer who needs to win this game in order to prevent getting sacked.
Both the teams tasted defeat in their previous outings with Manchester United being ruthlessly dominated by Liverpool by a 0-5 scoreline. Tottenham also displayed a horrific performance against West Ham United who comfortably won with a 1-0 scoreline.
Tottenham coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been under heavy pressure as his Spurs squad has failed to play up to the expectations and is currently lingering at 6th place in the PL table. Manchester United is placed one spot below Spurs, at 7th position.

Spurs managed to win two of their past three league games, whereas Manchester United has just collected one point of their previous four league games.
The game promises to be a blockbuster match on paper but in reality, both the teams have been playing boring football and need to lift their playing standards.
Tottenham vs Manchester United: Head to head
Manchester United has registered more wins over Tottenham in the head-to-head record. Their last match was playing on the 11th of April in which Manchester United scored three second-half goals in quick succession to win it by a 1-3 scoreline.
However, the Old Trafford Stadium will also not deny the fact that their team was once taken down by a 1-6 scoreline by Tottenham. It was the best performance for Spurs back in October and the worst for Man United.
Manchester United: 36 wins
Tottenham: 10 wins
Draws: 12
Tottenham vs Manchester United: Team News
Tottenham Hotspur will be again playing without Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring problem) and has still been waiting to test his qualities down the flank. Bryan Gill was also forced off early in their last match (thigh problem) against Burnley and there have been no issues yet regarding his availability for the clash.
Matt Doherty returned back to the squad but was an unused substitute in their previous match.
Meanwhile Manchester United will be playing without Paul Pogba who is suspended due to his foul on Naby Keita against Liverpool. Anthony Martial is fit and could be gearing for a chance to play and this goes the same with Amad Diallo.
Raphael Varane is back in training and it looks like the French centre-back could be available to play against Tottenham.
Opponent Key Man: Harry Kane
The English striker has been Tottenham’s best player to date and not for this season but consistently for many seasons. This season he has seven goals and one assist to his name and will be looking to add more goals to his tally.
His movement against West Ham was exceptional but he failed to score. Till now, he has been Tottenham’s third-highest goalscorer in club history with 167 goals and that record speaks volumes about his quality.
Man United has to be physically tough in order to overcome a fearsome Spurs attack consisting of Son, Kane, and Moura.
Our Prediction for the match:
By observing United’s current form, we are considering Tottenham to be heavy favorites to win this match. Harry Kane and Son will be among the scorers.
United can surprise us with a goal but we consider Tottenham to beat Manchester United by a 2-1 scoreline.
