According to the Sun, Manchester United are braced to receive another huge offer from Saudi Arabia for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old has just one year left on his contract. Although the club can extend it to another year, the Portuguese striker would not favour that option considering the fact that he wants to leave Old Trafford.
The veteran forward forced a move out with his agent having conversations with several clubs regarding a potential transfer. However, his wage demands were a major stumbling block.
Saudi based club Al Hilal were seriously interested in a deal but their offer was rejected by Ronaldo as he didn’t find it appealing. Another Middle East side Al Nassr, were also interested in a move for the striker.
Even if the former Real Madrid star has decided to stay, a lucrative offer could not be ruled out. There would be chances that these Saudi based clubs will return with another concrete offer in the month of January or next summer.
In any case, a move to the middle East will be against his idea of joining a Champions League club. It remains to be seen whether the striker decides to extend his contract or search for a move elsewhere.
