Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire are the two Manchester United players to highlight in WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Week after a 3-1 win over Newcastle United.
Maguire may have been to blame for Allan Saint-Maximin’s objective however he has a 7.72 rating from WhoScored’s detail machine. The captain was credited with help for Rashford and won six airborne duels against Steve Bruce’s side.
Rashford, then again, got on the scoresheet which will consistently offer his match rating courtesies.
He put United ahead in the main half and his spilling messed up the Magpies. Rashford was quite clinical in front of the goal and his goal and style of play created a huge trouble for Newcastle defenders as they were largely dominated by the striker. Fernandes is a surprising exclusion from the team as he was again instrumental in the win and played his part by scoring from the spot.
Everton too has got some major drill as two of their players were included in the TOW. Burnley and fulham had two of their players included as well. Leeds United’s Raphinha, West Ham’s Antonio, and Wolves’ Rui Patricio completed the rest of the team.

Manchester United’s impending rivals Chelsea in the class haven’t got a solitary part in the TOTW. They drew 1-1 with Southampton prior to beating La Liga pioneers Atletico Madrid away from home in the Champions League the previous evening. Chelsea didnt get any of their players into the TOW.
Paul Scholes has just reviewed the game at Stamford Bridge and it is reasonable to say he likes our odds out and about, with Chelsea seeming “innocuous” in the last third. Manchester United again see their players conquer the TOW and the strikers will be waiting to exploit Chelsea at the back as they fight to close the gap with arch-rivals Manchester City.
