United exploring ways to sign Jack Grealish – How about Swap deal?

Manchester United FC had reportedly stopped their quest to sign Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish because of the price tag set by Villa. Grealish was linked with a move to United from January and was almost sure of coming to Old Trafford this summer. It is now reported by the Daily Mail that United are now willing to swap Romero along with some cash to sign Grealish.

Jack Grealish has been eager for a move away from Aston Villa and reportedly loves the idea of playing at Old Trafford. The Villa talisman has almost single-handedly kept his team up in the Premier League and has done what he promised. His performances have drawn the attention of loads of big clubs, particularly Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City.

But it is believed that Villa will demand about £70m for their captain, which is far-fetched looking at the corona pandemic. United has earlier backed off a deal and had planned to prioritize Sancho’s deal. But now, the Red Devils are thinking of exploring a way of signing Grealish, involving a swap with Romero with some additional cash.

United surely need to bolster their attacking department, and Grealish would surely be a great signing for United. If the club manages to do such a deal, it would be encouraging for the manager as well as the fans.
