Manchester United’s chances of landing Jadon Sancho this summer are becoming less likely with each passing day as Dortmund refuse to budge from their price tag. It was reported earlier about United’s reluctance to pay Dortmund’s asking fee for Sancho as United looked at alternatives. It is now being reported by Sky Sports that the Red Devils might look at loaning Gareth Bale for a year.
The Red Devils have failed to place a bid for Sancho even though they have been closely linked to him. United surely need a right-winger as Greenwood is the only player in that position, as Dan James is better on the left-wing. Thus reports have emerged linking Gareth Bale to Manchester United, with a loan for a year option.
It is now being reported that the 31-year old winger is keen on moving out of Real Madrid into the Premier League. If he joins United on-loan, Real Madrid are reportedly happy to pay half of his wages which is about £300,000 per week. This deal is very unlikely to go through, because of Bale’s wages, his age and his poor injury record.
On his day, Gareth Bale is one of the best players in the world, but his consistency and injury woes have turned him into a liability.
