Manchester United FC’s summer transfer window has been anything but bizarre as the club has only managed to sign one player till now. Since the beginning of the summer, the Red Devils have been liked with Jadon Sancho and the saga has taken way too long. It is now being reported by The Telegraph that United are now looking at alternatives if they fail to get Sancho this summer.
Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho has been painstakingly slow and has irritated United fans. Earlier it was reported that the Red Devils are now ready to walk away from the Sancho deal because of Dortmund’s price tag. But to do that United need to have alternatives as well, as Greenwood and James are the only options on the right-wing.
It is now being reported that United are looking at elder alternatives if they don’t sign Sancho this summer. According to the reports, the club is looking at Gareth Bale, Douglas Costa and Ivan Perisic as an alternative to Jadon Sancho. But it is highly unlikely for United to sign any of the three alternatives because of their age, which is more than 30 years, in everyone’s case.
Manchester United surely need to sign Jadon Sancho this summer, to give Solskjaer any chance of winning silverware next season.
