Manchester United FC have named their squad for the rest of the Europa League before they face LASK later tonight. The Red Devils will play LASK in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie at Old Trafford. United recently submitted their squad list to UEFA that is going to play for the rest of the Europa League.
Because of injuries to Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe, both the players are set to miss the tournament and don’t feature in United’s squad. In place of Shaw and Tuanzebe, youngsters Ethan Laird and Teden Mengi join the Europa League squad. Phil Jones has been injured for a long time but has retained his place in Solskjaer’s squad.
Eric Bailly had also suffered a head injury against Chelsea in United’s FA Cup semi-final clash last month, where United lost. But the Ivorian defender has recovered well and is not just in contention to play tonight’s game but will most likely start as well. The rest of the squad is unchanged as the Red Devils will try to win the Europa League silverware.
Solskjaer is keen on getting his hands on his first managerial silverware at Manchester United and wants to win the Europa League this season.
