According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United may enter the competition with Chelsea and Bayern Munich to secure the signing of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the upcoming summer transfer window.
United has expressed the desire to acquire a high-profile striker, with Harry Kane being the primary target. However, negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur, a direct Premier League rival, are proving challenging.
As a result, the Red Devils are reportedly exploring alternative options, and Corriere dello Sport suggests that they are among the clubs interested in bringing Vlahovic from Juventus.
The Turin-based club recently faced a 10-point deduction in Serie A due to false accounting, resulting in their failure to qualify for the next season’s Champions League.

With Juventus looking to recoup potential losses, it is believed that they are demanding a fee of €80-90 million to part ways with Vlahovic.
The Serbian international made an impressive mark in the Italian top flight in 2021, scoring an outstanding 33 goals. This led to his transfer from Fiorentina to Juventus for a fee of €81.6 million.
However, since joining Juventus, Vlahovic has struggled to replicate his previous form. His statistics are decent with only 23 goals and six assists in 63 appearances across all competitions. But expectations were higher for a player who was once compared to Erling Haaland.
In our opinion, a change of environment could be beneficial for Vlahovic. The 23-year-old has appeared uncomfortable with Juventus’ tactical setup under Massimiliano Allegri.

A new challenge outside of Turin could bring out the best in him, and we believe that United’s playing style could suit him well. The striker’s strengths lie in his positioning and finishing abilities.
This season, Erik the Hag’s side have missed several significant scoring opportunities in the box. A player of Vlahovic’s calibre could potentially capitalize on these chances and convert them into goals.
