Injury Update

United striker Anthony Martial expected to return soon from injury

Anthony Martial is focusing on a playing return in the upcoming weeks at Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News says Martial is moving uninhibitedly and without support on his harmed knee, as the United forward focuses on a get back from injury. Anthony Martial was seen out in the Manchester area of Hale with his better half Melanie, on Wednesday. The Frenchman was asked how his knee was recuperating and answered that he was feeling better.

What’s more, he could yet have an impact again this season for United, regardless of administrator Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already recommending the 25-year-old’s season was finished. Martial got the injury during the worldwide break towards the beginning of this current month, playing for France against Kazakhstan.

He has scored only seven goals for United this season, four of them in the Premier League. United will continue their run in the Europa League when Manchester United faces Roma as they look to end the season with a trophy.

Manchester United is not facing any issues in terms of their attack as they have a wealth of options available to them. Cavani has been in fine form and even Rashford and Mason Greenwood have raised their performance level with crucial goals in recent games.

As United waits for a contract extension from Cavani, they will also hope that Martial returns soon. Solksjaer will be handling his recovery with utmost care as United move towards the end of this season.
