Donny Van de Beek is closing on a move to Manchester United after quick moves from both the clubs. The Dutch midfielder had reportedly agreed on personal terms and a bid from United was accepted on the first go by Ajax. It is now being reported by SkySports that Van de Beek has now completed his medical and all paperwork has also been done in the Netherlands.
Manchester United, unlike the way they do deals, have very quickly finished the deal for Donny Van de Beek from Ajax. It was reported earlier that Van de Beek would fly to Manchester to complete his deal, but this didn’t happen. Instead, his medical and paperwork were completed in the Netherlands as the Dutch training camp for the Nations League has started.
According to the government of England, Van de Beek will not need to self-isolate if his move to United is done before he plays for the Dutch national side. The midfielder is in contention to play for the Dutch side in the coming days and thus United need to officially announce him quick. It has also been reported that United will announce Van de Beek later today.
