Donny Van de Beek has been a good addition to Manchester United as he brings energy and versatility on the pitch for the Red Devils. But he still hasn’t started for Manchester United in the Premier League, which has been a topic of discussion. In his talk with Manchester United’s Official Website, Van de Beek talks about game-time and his first start in the Champions League for Manchester United against Leipzig.
The Dutch midfielder finally started a game for United in the Champions League as the Red Devils thrashed Leipzig. Van de Beek played for 63 minutes and the Dutchman was a workhorse for Manchester United. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get a goal involvement which he would have liked to have, looking at his skills on and off the ball.
In his recent interview, Van de Beek said: “I think a lot of games (means) we can improve always and I am sure that we will win more if we stay in the focus. A lot of big games are coming up now. A lot of games. We need to stay in the focus and then I’m sure that we make more nice wins.”
Manchester United have games coming up thick and fast with games coming in the Premier League and Champions League. Van de Beek will be expected to get even more game-time, and looking at his performances he will get more chances. The Red Devils face Arsenal next and Van de Beek will be expected to play a part in that game as well.
