Manchester United Centre-back and Swedish International, Victor Lindelof has scored a brace of good news. Last month he posted his photo with his wife of a good news coming soon and now he is been awarded as “Swedish Player of the Year.”
Surpassing the likes of fans favorite, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a dream come true for any Sweden international.
Not only did he eclipse his idol but another experienced National Granquist who was in the second contention.
Victor Lindelof was solely and purely brought onto Old Trafford because of Zlatan’s comments although there may have been research put after.
During Lindelof’s time in Benefica, he was praised to the skies by then United strike Zlatan.
“Victor is doing great things. He has a lot of responsibility for the national team,” he said. “He is ready for the big clubs out there, it’s up to him and what he wants. I know he’s hot on the market.”
After his signing and lowly first year performance for United, Victor was still shouldered and supported from his senior team mate.
“I think it has been tough, it has not been easy,” Ibra said at the time. “There was great expectations and he did not get much game time. We talk every day, he grows and gets better. It’s all about getting into it and taking a place in the team. It is about confidence and finding his role.”
While Zlatan has been striking goals and smashing records in MLS, Lindelof with his stout-hearted tackles, encrypts glory.
