Manchester United are enjoying some fine form after what was their worst start to a season. Many people had written them and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of but they seemed to have responded impressive.
“The last few years, Manchester United haven’t been ready to challenge for the title, but now they’ve brought in players like Fernandes and Cavani – players with a winning mentality – that has helped massively” were Wayne Rooney’s words ahead of his side Derby County’s clash against QPR.
He feels that the likes of Cavani and Bruno Fernandes have once again established a winning mentality in a team that seemed to be going in a downward spiral.
Many people had criticized Ole for bringing Edinson Cavani to the club as they saw it as a quick fix rather than a long-term signing but the impact that he has had in recent games is quite commendable.
He has even had a positive impact on many youngsters in the dressing room as he is a great role model for what a striker should be like.
The title race looks really exciting this season as the number one spot keeps changing time and again which only leads to more competitiveness amongst the teams vying for the illustrious trophy.
Establishing an elite mentality is very important and one can also see that Paul Pogba has returned to form after tackling a lot of criticism as well as the virus. Many of the top players seem to be stepping up to the plate. Manchester United has won more points from losing positions than any other team this season which only shows you how far they have come in terms of confidence and establishing an elite mentality.
