West Brom put up a resilient performance against a Manchester United side which needed the three points badly to stay in contention for the Premier League title.
Manchester United had a few chances here and there but a fabulous Bruno strike is the only thing that could save the Red Devil the blushes from losing out to another one of the teams in the bottom three of the table.
Manchester United was found defensively wanting on several occasions and De Gea held his ground to pull off some decent saves despite the recent criticism which meant that Manchester United came away with only the solitary point.

Manchester United has been known to be a little slow to get into the rhythm of the game and their recent performances are a testament to that yet nobody expected that they would be behind in just under 90 seconds.
M.Diagne scored a beautiful header as he held of Lindelof to put the ball past De Gea’s net and the baggies looked promising.
Manchester United took this as a wake-up call and started creating a few good chances but nothing really substantial came out of them until Bruno Fernandes pulled a stunner from a Luke Shaw cross in the 44th minute.
The game was all square before halftime and set for an enthralling finish.
Both the teams started the second half well with some presentable chances. West Brom was trying to hold off the attacks from Manchester United.
Manchester United was given a penalty in the 61st minute which was then overruled by VAR which only led to more controversy.
West Brom also had some goal life defending to thank as Scott McTominay had easily beat Sam Johnstone but the defender was to the rescue.
The baggies looked promising with some of the chances that they created and could easily have gotten another goal if M. Diagne had to be a bit more clinical with his strike or Ainsley Maitland Niles could have played a better through ball in the 71st minute.
It was a pretty even game and the result seemed like a fair one.
