According to The Athletic, Wan-Bissaka may have a way out of Old Trafford in January if he signs with West Ham or Aston Villa.
Recently the Hammers had a late interest in the African star, but Erik Ten Hag blocked any negotiations at the very last minute after the Red Devils were unable to secure a deal for FC Barcelona defender Sergino Dest.
However, even if Diogo Dalot has maintained a firm hold on the right-back position at Old Trafford, the 24-year-old still has a chance to play in cup games and European contests.
The former Crystal Palace defender was Solskjaer’s favourite but he soon fell down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag.
West Ham and Aston Villa may be the front-runners in the race to sign him in January if he doesn’t win over the Carrington manager. Recently, Crystal Place had enquired about the defender but they made a pitiful £10 million offer, well below what United would have valued him at.
According to the report, the defender might sell for as little as £10 million, a significant decline from the £50 million United paid for him in 2019.
As things stand, it is increasingly likely that the player would move as Diogo Dalot is in his best form and it would affect Wan-Bissaka’s position in the squad.
