What will it cost to lure Pogba away from Manchester United?

There has been a lot of uncertainty around Paul Pogba’s future at the club recently and just as he looked like he was returning to his prime form certain public statements from his agent Mino Raiola further exacerbated this situation.

According to Express Manchester United will demand a fee in the range of close to 75 million euros to at least recuperate the cost of what it took to acquire him.

There have been a lot of rumours flying around the whole Pogba situation and it feels like it is only time before he moves away from the club. Any move for the player looks difficult in January as many of the clubs are still trying to recover their finances.

PSG and Real Madrid have been identified as the major suitors who would like to take Pogba away from Manchester United. While all of these are still rumour everybody gets a sense that Pogba isn’t entirely happy in Manchester United.

He had a difficult time towards the end of the Mourinho term and has also been battling injuries constantly. He has proven to be a great player for the national side and has even shown that spark in Manchester on several occasions.

Paul Pogba’s current contract extends till the summer of 2022 but it seems like the only way Manchester United will be able to recover any substantial amount of money from him is if he is shipped off in the next transfer window.

The club and the player will hopefully come to a mutual understanding regarding this current predicament.
