Will Manchester United finally let these players go?

It isn’t dazzling or breaking news that Manchester United have one of the highest wage bills in the Premier League despite their inconsistent performances in the past few years. It finally sees that Ole has established himself enough in the dressing room to have the firm talk.

Many players in the Manchester United line-up are either on the fringes or have become redundant with their playing time consisting of either a handful of games or rare chances in inconsequential matches.

The fact remains that some of these fringe players have high wages and there is growing descent as to why they are still there in the squad as it not only hurts the club financially but also mentally weakens the dressing room.

Phil Jones has struggled with injuries most of this campaign and hasn’t had a huge impact for quite a few now. It looks like he is on Inter Milan’s radar and being offloaded will also mean that his 75,000 euros -a-week can be utilized elsewhere.

Marcos Rojo hasn’t made a single appearance this season and with Eric Baily proving to be in fine form I do not think there is much scope for him to continue his tenure at Manchester United. According to rumours Newcastle United may just be interested in him.

Sergi Romero has had very little to no game time at all and with Manchester United recalling Dean Henderson who is supposedly the heir to De Gea in goal there doesn’t seem much of a point in keeping him in the squad.

Sergi Romero wasn’t too happy either when a deadline day move didn’t happen last summer which means that he is still stuck here. Jesse Lingard and Daniel James may also be offloaded but may still have a shot of redemption if they can impress elsewhere with a loan spell.
It finally depends on Ole and it looks like the high time some necessary departures took place at Manchester United.
