Wolverhampton Wanderers ready to offer an escape route to Aaron Wan-Bissaka

As reported by Foot Mercato, Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly made an offer for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and the offer could be accepted by the Red Devils.

It seems that the Wolves are trying their best to sign the right-back in the January transfer window. The defender was signed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Crystal Palace in 2019 for about £50 million.

Since Erik ten Hag was hired as manager, he has had difficulty making an impression with United and has seen only a few minutes of play. And now it appears that his time in Manchester may be coming to an end. According to rumours in France, United will accept the Wolves’ offer for the 25-year-old. However, it has not been revealed whether it will be a loan deal or a direct purchase offer.

The former Palace star is an excellent defender, and he is only hindered by his lack of attacking contributions. The Londoner doesn’t consistently contribute at both ends of the field, which is something that modern full-backs are expected to do.

He needs to play frequently at this point in his career, and the Wolves will provide him that chance. Ten Hag needs to find additional competition and fill the void if Wan-Bissaka is allowed to leave United this month.
