Manchester United FC are looking for a summer overhaul in this transfer window after securing Champions League football next season. The Red Devils are linked to several players throughout the transfer window because of their financial stature and ambition. Lately, United are reportedly liked with Juventus players Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro according to CalcioMercato and will try to sign the duo to solve the issues.
Manchester United are looking to solve their issues in the left-back and the right-wing spot this window. Sandro and Costa have been previously linked with United but moves have never materialized for both the players. But the Red Devils are reportedly keen on getting the duo this transfer window with Juventus’ willingness to sell.
Juventus, under new manager Andrea Pirlo, are willing to sell a lot of their players to balance the books at the club. Woodward is keen on getting Costa and Sandro to Old Trafford as a report from Sky Sports Italia says that both players will cost about £74m. With United’s reluctance to pay high transfer fees for players, this might be the best resort for the club.
Though Woodward is concerned about both the players’ age and their fitness record, the move might happen if United fail to get Jadon Sancho.
