As reported by The Guardian, Wout Weghorst has flown to England in preparation for his loan move to Manchester United for the remainder of the season.
Prior to boarding his private flight to Manchester, the forward was seen arriving at a Turkish airport on camera.
United had previously agreed to pay £2.5 million to Besiktas to get Wout Weghorst on loan until the end of the season. The compensation sum will be paid directly by United to Besiktas as they attempt to complete the move.
Following his exclusion from the Besiktas squad for their league match on Saturday, the striker has already packed his bags in preparation for his move to United. Besiktas was scheduled to play Konyaspor this weekend, but the Turkish team decided not to include the forward.

United must act quickly to get Weghorst registered in order for him to play in Saturday’s Manchester derby against Manchester City. His physical condition may also affect his availability.
The Dutch striker missed training on Wednesday because of groyne pain, which may have caused some United supporters to worry about his fitness before joining the team. It now seems that it was simply a minor issue, but he was still able to complete a customised workout in the gym.
Weghorst said goodbye to the Besiktas fans after scoring the winning goal in their league match against Kasimpasa on Saturday.
That now appears to be his last performance for the team as he nears his return to England barely six months after leaving the nation as a result of Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League last season.
During his time in Turkey, the Dutch striker has made 18 appearances for Besiktas, tallying nine goals and four assists.
In the tense quarterfinal matchup with Argentina, he scored twice for the Netherlands before the South American country advanced on penalties.
He maintained his strong World Cup form.
Weghorst now has the potential to improve his Premier League stats after scoring just twice in 20 games for Burnley the previous season before the Clarets dropped to the Championship.
