From the past couple of seasons, United have keen on signing youngsters from everywhere around the world and are integrating them into the academy. United’s youth set-up is one of the best in the world and the Red Devils have signed some great prospects this summer. It has now been reported that Spanish duo Marc Jurado and Alvaro Fernandez have arrived in Manchester.
Jurado played as a right-back for the youth team of Barcelona, whereas Fernandez played as a left-back for the youth team of Real Madrid. Both teenagers are very talented and are one of the best in their respective age-groups in Spain. It has been reported that both the players are living with a local family to complete their self-isolation, after which they will sign contracts with Manchester United.
Both the full-backs are known for their pace and versatility, as they can attack and defend well. Jurado can also play as a right-winger, but Fernandez is a traditional left-back and is left-footed thus makes great over-lapping runs. Both the teenagers are very talented and United would want both of the Spaniards to make it to the first-team in three to four years time.
The Red Devils haven’t signed a player yet for the first-team with training due to start in four days. Woodward must act quickly to have any chance of making it to the latter round of the Champions League.
