Mourinho’s unsuccessful run continues, it will be not long that we see him replaced in winter transfer window. Who will replace the star manager? Stakes are high that it will be none other than Zinedine Zidane. The French has been reported to replace Mourinho since the start of Pre-season. And after United’s precarious display, chances of him getting the chair from Mourinho have increased.
Zidane who had an impressive run as a Manager of the Spanish club Real Madrid, conquering the UEFA Champions league all three seasons he mentored. After leaving Madrid on the grounds of citing that Madrid need a new method of working, Zidane is now being termed as the perfect candidate to mentor United, if the Boss leaves the Reds.
United may not bid Mourinho before January, it will cost the Red devils a lot to sack him, with the Portuguese having committed to a contract in January. Before that if Mourinho changes the flow of waves in opposite direction, he may stay.
Zidane in a recent interview told that he is planning to be back, which created a hype among media. Zidane told TVE: “Certainly I’ll be coaching again soon because it’s what I like doing and what I’ve done all my life.”
