5 players that can bring back the cup after 5 years

The last time Manchester brought the cup home was under Alex Ferguson in 2013. Henceforth there has been a cup-draught for United. This is the third season for Mourinho and he would like to bring the cup home this time or it may be his last year with the Red Devils. These lads will have to show their ‘A’ game if the red side of Manchester want to stay at par with their blue counterparts:

David De Gea

David De Gea, probably the best goalkeeper present, will have to create magical saves this season.

He will be the key performer for United like all the previous years. Goals may help United to win the fights but what will help them win the title are his clean sheets. ‘The Number One’ would surely help United a great deal with his spectacular saves. What we’ll have to look is, will those saves be enough for United to lift the trophy?

Paul Pogba

If there is anyone who can bring you back in the last minutes; it is the French midfielder. Paul Pogba has to live up to the expectations and come out on the top. It is his goal scoring ability from distance that will have to work ‘into the pole’ for United, Yes we are talking about ‘that’ PogBOOM.

Marcus Rashford

The youngster who has been given an added responsibility of wearing ‘Number 10’ shirt will have to prove his worth this time. With his pace and striking ability, the striker will have to go through the defenders, that he is naturally good in and strike into the net.

Alexis Sanchez

You don’t need to worry about the grind when you got the definition of ‘working hard’ right there with you on the pitch. Manchester United have got it in the form of Alexis Sanchez and they would want that the striker scores into the net. With his ability to play from both the feet, he will give you goals no matter where you put him on the pitch . If United truly want to be title contenders, it will be Sanchez’ boots that will have to score.

Romelu Lukaku

The giant Belgian forward has truly been sensational for United after his £75 million transfer. He scored 16 goals last season; although he joined the club in January. He would like to increase his tally this year and give fight to recent Premier League champs – Salah and Kane. The red army dreams that Lukaku plays for them as he does for Belgium.
