Manchester United’s only summer signing till now, Donny Van de Beek seems to have settled well to start of life in England. The midfielder also played his first game in a United shirt in the pre-season friendly game against Aston Villa, last week. But Dutch legend Ruud Gullit, in his latest talk with De Telegraph, has warned Van de Beek to be careful about his choices.
Van de Beek signed for United a couple of weeks ago and has reportedly settled well into his new life. The Dutchman has trained well and will surely feature in the United match-day squad when they face Crystal Palace at the end of the week. He also has a huge chance of featuring for United in the latter stages of the game.
But Ruud Gullit has recently warned Van de Beek saying “I look forward to seeing Donny van de Beek at Manchester United. What immediately occurred to me is that he should be careful not to become a second Davy Klaassen. Van de Beek is a younger copy of Davy in terms of play.” He also added “Van de Beek will also have to get used to being under a magnifying glass every day. Depay can talk about that.”
Van de Beek is seen as one of the most exciting prospects in the footballing world and it would be great to see him shine at Manchester United.
