Solskjaer enraged with ‘disrespect’ to Van de Beek

Manchester United’s summer business has been poor till now as the club has managed to sign only one player and has sold only one player. United’s new signing Donny Van de Beek has looked sharp and has even scored for United in the Premier League last weekend during the club’s loss to Crystal Palace. In his latest pre-match press conference, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his discontent at the fanbase for ‘disrespecting’ Van de Beek.

The United fanbase has been raging with United’s transfer business this window and the displeasure has been increased with United’s loss to Crystal Palace. Solskjaer has reportedly been frustrated with the United board due to the lack of signings. It has also been reported that United might do a couple of signings before the summer transfer window closes on October 5th.

In his press conference, Solskjaer said: “I think you show quite a bit of disrespect to Donny when you say he was the only one, because he is a top player, and he strengthens our team.”

Van de Beek has played only a couple of games for United but has shown signs of becoming a good player for the Red Devils.

The Dutch international will surely turn out to be a good signing for United, but it is evident that the Red Devils need more signings this summer to compete for silverware.
