Manchester United have failed in the summer transfer window massively, as the board failed to sell a lot of the deadwood at the club. Phil Jones is one of the most injury-prone players in the Red Devils squad and has played poorly for the last four years. It is now being reported by The Daily Star that Derby and Middlesbrough are keen to sign Phil Jones in the January transfer window.
Phil Jones is currently out with injury and it seems that there is no end to his misery at Manchester United. The English centre-back has been more of a meme material for the internet, instead of becoming United’s next big thing. Almost every time he appears for the Red Devils, Jones make an error which does harm to hi already-poor reputation.
It has now been reported that Derby and Middlesbrough are interested in signing the English international in January. Phil Jones would love to move to another club as he barely gets any game-time at Manchester United. The club should also sell the defender as he is now more of a liability than an asset.
The Manchester United board need to sell Phil Jones as soon as possible as his value will only decrease with time.
