Donny Van de Beek has been the talk of the town at Manchester United since his arrival in the summer transfer window. The much-awaited start to his United career hasn’t gone as he would have planned because of lack of game-time. In his recent post-game interview for Netherlands, Van de Beek reinstated his confidence in himself and says his time at United will come sooner rather than later.
Last night, Van de Beek scored against Spain to emphasize on the fact that he needs to be starting for United regularly. The Dutch midfielder has shown great hunger an appetite whenever he has played for the Red Devils. Solskjaer needs to figure a way out to put Van de Beek in the starting XI, as he surely deserves it.
In his recent interview, Van de Beek talked about what Solskjaer has told him and said: “That I have to be patient, but also that I just have to continue with what I am doing. He’s seen that I have a good impact when I come into the field. My time is definitely coming. And when those opportunities come, I have to be there.”
With a mixed start to the season, Manchester United manager, Solskjaer needs to find a way of integrating Van de Beek into the starting lineup. The Dutchman will add solidity and creativity to the Red Devils’ midfield, which is what Solskjaer has been craving for.
