Jose Mourinho has been reported to have a talk with Woodward once again on the transfer of Martial from United. With just 11 days left in the transfer window, Mourinho wants Martial to be out so that he is able to have sufficient fund in order to buy a player after December. But it has been reported that Woodward is not in same terms with Mourinho and wants that Martial should stay.
Mourinho has been ranting since the pre-season to sell the French midfielder after his absence in the pre-season due to the birth of his child. He did not get an opportunity to play in the first match of the premier league against the Foxes but when he did in the second, he was unsuccessful in capitalising it and was booked before the end of game.
After the Brighton match Daily Star wrote that Mourinho had approached to Woodward to discuss the transfer again. But Woodward still disagrees with Mourinho and this unwanted quarrel is rupturing their fractured relationship furthermore. Mourinho has been disappointed with Woodward since the pre-season as he refused to pay for the likes of Harry Maguire, Ivan Perisic, and Toby Alderweireld.
Sources say that, when Mourinho called Martial back after 60 minutes in the match against Seagulls, he was signalling Woodward who was sitting in the stands. But Woodward is adamant to keep Martial because of the whopping £58 million deal United made in acquiring the Frenchman. He believes that someone of just 22 is the future of United and still has a lot to play for.
If the same continues it will be Mourinho to leave United by the end of Christmas.
