Kylian Mbappe and Marcus Rashford, the sparkling future of football. The players who have the world at their feet. Both are natural talent and have the ability to tease the defenders, power to net the ball past the keeper and skills to be footballing stars.
Both the players have been a fine talent, for their Club and Nation, scoring day in and day out.
Breaking through the clock
Kylian Mbappe
Starting the footballing career at the age of 16 years and 347 days, Mbappe has never looked back from where he began. Coming in as a teenager for Monaco and turning out to be their first choice striker, the journey had been worldly. There has been no stop to these youngster’s vows of scoring goals, day after another.
The rise of Mbappe began in last year’s Champions league, when his former team reached semi-finals of the competition. Thiery Henry of now, as called by many has proved his abilities to score against tough teams, performing in tough competitions and pacify the game whenever required.
Mbappe’s sizzling dribble followed by his legs rolling over the ball is cherry on the cake. You may think he will run towards the left flank but his fast moving shoes will cheat your instinct, and the forward may run through the right. Such is the man’s pace with the ball.
Paris-Saint German’s forward will have to consistently perform playing with the likes of Neymar or the Golden Boy of France will perish before coming out of the ground.
Marcus Rashford
A fairy tale beginning for the young Rashford, embarked the start of his career. First game for United senior team and two goals on his name. What else would you ask for! The hype was created after his debut and initially he did perform to the expectations.
The centre-back got a drought of goals last season when he was moved from his preferred position viz. centre-forward to left-winger, following the entry of Zlatan and further by Lukaku. Pure talent of English soil, has had his chances of becoming a top name diminished, playing aside big names of football.
The skill he possesses, the opportunities he creates and the speed he offers are attributes of a perfect footballer.
The stats may say, Mbappe is far better than Rashford, but considering the skills and talent both the youngster possess it is probably a comparison of 3-4 years henceforth.
Both the players have a lot to make up to, maturity being the first one. While Mbappe is more selfish on the field trying to gain glory, Rashford needs to learn to be present on the right place at the right time.
