Paul Pogba is entering the last year of his Manchester United contract and the French midfielder’s future remains unsure with Juventus, Real Madrid, and PSG links still looming close.
The 28-year-old, who left United for Juventus in 2012 preceding pulling off a U-turn by getting back to Old Trafford in 2016, has for some time been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Former Juventus chief Fabio Paratici – right now working at Tottenham Hotspur — has made light of the theory stating that Juventus were never close for a deal for Paul Pogba.
Former Juventus sport director Fabio Paratici to Sky Sport: “Paul Pogba back to Juventus? I think it is very difficult, there has never been a moment in which we have been close to taking him back”. 🔴🇫🇷 #Juventus #MUFC

Manchester United was confident that Pogba will be with them for years to come but rumours were not halting to any extent. The Juventus rumours were the noisiest one. But the latest confirmation from Paratici has shocked everyone and it does make it clear that not all rumors are correct.
Paul Pogba’s current contract will end next year (June 2022)and United will be aiming to tie him with the club for more years. His agent Raiola will be holding talks with the club and United will try their best to convince the player.
Pogba has been phenomenal for France but was not able to inspire them to go farther ahead in Euros as they bowed out of the tournament. Manchester United will be hoping to bring more silverware this season and place a solid foundation for players to believe in their plans for the future.
PSG is the only team left in the competition now and after their latest signings, we think that Pogba will not be heading towards the exit door now.
Not all rumors are true after all.
