Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has declared himself fit and ready for the new campaign. Our star man was back with the squad after a long vacation and had a chat with MUTV.
When asked about how we felt after returning back from his long holidays, he said: “Yes, I’m fresh and happy to be back, seeing my teammates again, training again, it’s always a good thing. It was nice, finally a long break after the season. It was a long time, I think five years maybe since my last full break. The lads are ready. We have been training hard, everyone is training really well and everyone will be ready for the beginning of the season.”
Last season was a spectacular one for Bruno Fernandes. He won the Sit Matt Busby Player of the year award and his numbers spoke everything about his performances. He was United’s top scorer and assist getter last season.
He then returned to Portugal to play for the most prestigious Euro trophy. Portugal was knocked out by defending champions Belgium by a 1-0 scoreline. Fernandes then went for a long vacation to fill up his energy tank for the upcoming season.

Last season, Bruno Fernandes played 58 games and was Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s most important player. Obviously staying fit is important and we are so happy that he is training with positivity and determination.
Manchester United are currently practising for the final preseason game against Everton tomorrow. They will then set their sights on the first match of the new Premier League season.
We expect Bruno Fernandes to wear his goal-scoring shoes and start all guns blazing against Leeds on the 14th of August.
