Juventus vs Manchester United: Report | Champions League

United showcased their undying fighting spirit again when they faced Juventus in Champions League game last night. The genius of Mourinho resurfaced, the Red Devils made a convincing comeback, stunned were Juventus.

Another impressive victory in Turin courtesy of a late free kick from Juan Mata & an own goal. What was a sensational stunner from CR7 could not have been overshadowed in a fancier fashion.

The first half was dominated in the mid field with both teams sharing possession almost one and the same. The dominating lot always had to be home team but none was convincing enough to test De Gea or please home fans.

The main highlight of half was a floating Nemanja Matic pass only an inch away from sanchez full stretched right leg. The teams went in to dressing room to ponder upon ways of breaking scoreline deadlock.

In the second half Juventus came stronger, agile & more fearsome. Paulo Dybala almost had his celebration unmasked when Unitedms defence left him unmarked to allow him turn outside the box and score the upper woodwork. Stunned was the birthday boy, yelling on United Defence.

It was not late that it took the most idolised footballer of millennial’s to showcase his practice put into pitch in 65th minute.

Bonucci’s top ball lurking over United’s defence fell directly on the foot of Ronaldo that converted it into a score in an emphatic manner.

Cristiano’s Ronaldo magical goal counted for nothing when Mourinho revealed his trump cards. Mata and Rashford were brought onto the pitch to bring in more creativity and pace.

Mata did not disappoint his Manager when he converted a foul earned by Pogba into an equaliser.

Young fainted the free kick with his run to give Mata a shorter wall to smash the net. Mata, Mourinho’s another trick in the book aroused the chants from away stands.

The teams were happy to end the game and share points but a set piece was what United had in their fate. Young took his stance, released the ball into the 6 yard mark which left Szczesny with an untidy punch that hit Alex Sandro’s head and went into the nets.

An icing on the cake for United in form of 2 unexpected points got Italian Job done and dusted.
