Man United reject loan offer from Sevilla for Anthony Martial

Manchester United has turned down a loan offer from Sevilla for Anthony Martial, according to Sky Sports.

Due to a lack of consistent game time this season, the Frenchman has expressed his wish to quit the club. Sevilla has been widely connected with him recently, and it has now been reported that La Liga has made a loan offer.

United, on the other hand, has rejected the deal, as they are hesitant about the idea of Martial departing on loan. United would prefer to have his pay paid in full while also receiving a loan fee. The money is unlikely to be paid by Sevilla.

In a recent offer, the Spanish club offered to cover only half of Martial’s salaries for the season. Martial has expressed his desire to depart, according to Rangnick. When he was left out of the matchday squad yesterday, it came as no surprise.

Nonetheless, the club’s management is unlikely to sell him for a low price, and any interested parties must pay the club’s asking price for his services.

Following his contract renewal in 2019, the Frenchman now earns £250,000 per week. Only a few clubs would be able to match his compensation deal. The most likely solution is for him to leave United permanently next month. It’s possible that Martial will have to take a pay cut.

He is valued at roughly £30 million by United. Barcelona had been linked with Martial earlier this month, but their interest may not continue. The Blaugrana are on the verge of signing Manchester City’s Ferran Torres, but would rather take a cheaper route to bolster their centre-forward department.

Edinson Cavani is open to moving to Camp Nou in January. In the near future, the Uruguayan could try to get his United contract terminated. If Cavani goes, there’s a good chance Martial will stay with United for the rest of the season before a summer departure.
