Manchester United is said to be considering the option of loaning out Mason Greenwood for the entire upcoming season. The Daily Mail reports that Italy, Spain, and Turkey are the top three potential destinations being considered by the club.
This consideration comes as United continues its internal investigation into the striker, even though the charges against him were dropped in February.
During the ongoing investigation, discussions have taken place between the club and the player, who has been under significant scrutiny for over a year.
Following the release of a controversial audio recording and a social media post depicting a woman with visible injuries, the police launched an investigation in January 2022.

However, with the withdrawal of key witnesses and the emergence of new evidence, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the charges in February.
Despite the legal outcome, Man United is reportedly concerned about the potential impact of the allegations on the club’s reputation and appears eager to part ways with Greenwood.
United has intensified its internal investigation into the young English forward, who has two years left on his contract with a weekly salary of £75,000. It seems that the club’s primary objective is to offload the player.
Alternatively, the club may choose to conclude their investigation and loan the English player to an overseas team, allowing them more time for evaluation of the incident.

The player, who has earned one cap for the England national team, was initially suspended by United when the allegations arose in January 2022. Currently, Greenwood remains sidelined and excluded from the squad.
The likelihood of the academy graduate joining another Premier League club seems unlikely at this point. While there have been offers from Turkish clubs, Greenwood may prefer to play at a higher level.
Therefore, a potential move to Italy or Spain could be the best option for him at this point in his career.
