David Beckham has expressed his desire to be involved in Manchester United if a takeover of the club occurs.
The former Red Devils player believes that it is now crucial for the Glazer family to step away from their ownership of Old Trafford due to their loss of support from the fans.
Beckham’s interest in being part of the club reflects the widespread sentiment among fans who hope for positive changes in the club’s management and ownership.
According to the former Red, United currently requires planned investment if they want to reclaim their position at the top of English and European football.
The club’s ownership has been in a state of uncertainty for eight months, and it is unclear whether a takeover will eventually occur. Beckham’s remarks highlight the importance of financial backing and stability for the club to achieve success in the future.

As stated by the Athletic, he said:
“I have a lot going on here at the moment and my focus has purely been on Miami and everything that goes on in my business.”
“But I haven’t been approached and I suppose any involvement with Manchester United would mean the world to me going forward. But who knows? We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks or months.”
“Hopefully, a decision gets made and if I’m involved in any way… if not, I’ll be a United fan and just do what all the other fans are doing — turn up and watch our team.”
