Manchester United new boy Daniel James has won the Player of the Month award for August after a stunning start to his Premier League career with the red half of Manchester.
James joined Manchester United from Swansea City for a reported £15million from Swansea City in June and has already scored three goals in four Premier League games for the Red Devils.
United haven’t really gotten off to a great start to the new season as they have obtained just five points out of a possible 12 but James has set in incredibly well under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s management.
The 21-year-old has been compared to Manchester United and Wales legend Ryan Giggs because of his pace and ability on the ball and James is currently training with Giggs with the national team as Wales are preparing for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
All three candidates that were nominated for the Player of the Month award were new recruits from this summer as right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka took 36 percent of the poll and center-back Harry Maguire three percent while James got 61 percent of the votes.
