Manchester United FC’s mercurial French midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly excited about United’s links to Jadon Sancho of Dortmund. Pogba seems to be very happy at the club now, after the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January this year. Pogba is playing some of his best football since the restart, thriving with Bruno in the heart of the midfield.
Paul Pogba was United’s top scorer last season in all competitions and was finally, pleasing fans with his performances. But last summer, with comments from Pogba and his agent hinting towards a move, Pogba had to tolerate the wrath of United fans. His season has been plagued with injuries but, since the restart, he has looked more like the world-class player we know.
Pogba has been helped by the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, both on and off the pitch. Bruno has taken the mantle to create and score goals and now finally, Pogba doesn’t have to do everything by himself. Pogba along with Bruno Fernandes looks like a match made in heaven as both midfielders complement each other very well.
Now, with Jadon Sancho being linked to Manchester United, Pogba is reportedly even happier at the prospect of Sancho joining. Sancho is a very creative right-winger who can do it all, dribble past players, pass and also score. The youngster has got blistering pace and him along with Martial and Rashford as the front-three will take some stopping.
Pogba is reportedly at his happiest now than he has ever been at United and even wants to commit his future. Manchester United are currently on a 16-match unbeaten streak and are playing some scintillating attacking football. They are on their way to securing Champions League football which will encourage Sancho even more for joining the Red Devils.
Manchester United look to be at their best playing attacking football, and Jadon Sancho will be the icing on the cake. With the transfer fee Dortmund are asking for, it will be difficult for United to get Sancho. Sancho has also reportedly agreed on personal terms with United on a five-year-long deal.
With reports pointing towards a transfer, only time will tell if Pogba ever gets to play with Sancho for Red Devils.
