Manchester United FC starlet Marcus Rashford has performed fantastically well this season and has drawn the attention of French giants PSG. Rashford has scored 21 goals this season in all competitions for United and is one of the first names on the team-sheet. Woodward is likely to keep hold of Rashford as the Englishman has his mind set on United’s success.
Marcus Rashford has been one of the brightest stars for the Red Devils this season and has stamped his authority in the Premier League. The 22-year old has become a national hero, after his campaign against the English government stopping free food for poverty striker children. For his act Rashford has also been awarded a doctorate from the University of Manchester.
Rashford has become the youngest recipient of the honorary degree as he looks to make life easier for children. On the pitch, Rashford has been anything but kind, having thrashed all of his opponents, especially in the Premier League. In the Premier League this season, Rashford has scored 16 goals and provided eight assists in just 28 appearances.
Rashford has done well down the left flank and his sledge-hammer of a right-foot has troubled almost every team in the league. His partnership with Martial has been fruitful this season, as both have scored 16 goals each in the Premier League. The United No.10 has lived up to what was expected of him and has attracted attention from some big European clubs.
PSG head-coach Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a huge fan of the Englishman and wants PSG to secure his services. But that will be difficult as Rashford doesn’t want a move away from Old Trafford, and United don’t have a financial issue. PSG a have a couple of world-class wingers in Neymar and Mbappe, but either of the two might be on a move next season.
The move is highly unlikely even with the financial power of PSG and Rashford is ready to commit his future to United. The Red Devils are in an important phase of their rebuild with Rashford at the centre of it. Come the summer transfer window, United will be ready to battle it out amongst the elites for the best players.
