Manchester United great Andy Cole revealed that the Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes is making those around him at Old Trafford look better, with positive progress being made at the club.
According to the ex-Manchester United striker Andy Cole, the 25-year-old Bruno Fernandes has “galvanized” the Red Devils, almost single-handedly helping to raise collective standards of the team as a whole.
The 20-time English champions negotiated a reported €55 million (£47m/$60m) deal with Sporting Lisbon for the midfielder during the January transfer window and Fernandes has made an instant impact at United.
The Manchester United arrival Fernandes has hit the ground running in English football, requiring only a slight adjustment period for life in the top tier of the Premiership.
The big-money recruit, Fernandes has not disappointed with his displays helping to reignite a spark in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rather depleted side.

While speaking to Manchester Evening News, the 48-year-old former England international explained that Fernandes has given the Red Devils a mighty boost in terms of mentality as the players are oozing confidence with him in the team, “Mentality, that’s massive in football. Confidence as well. Once you’ve got your confidence people start believing in each other. We can talk about Fernandes coming in, he’s done extremely well and it’s looked like he’s galvanised the rest of the players as well to start playing their A-games.”
